Q：When the user use correct account to login on the computer, Why his desktop is changed. How could we help the user fix this problem ?




A：Each registered user will Windows2000/XP/2003 computer in Documents and Settings directory to establish a user login name the same folder, this folder is the user's preparation of document, configuration file contains the user's working environment, a desktop shortcut mode settings. The first time users log on the computer, the system will automatically use the template user profile (Default User & All Users) to create a new user profile, the profile in general is the user's login name named. Under normal circumstances the user's configuration file can be a normal load, but sometimes some of these services may be system or application components deployed some of the process of user session, or the registry appears occupied at this time can lead to the user's configuration file can not be loaded situation. Therefore, the system for users to create a temporary user profile, and the temporary profile is not the name of the user's login name but Temp. This will be a temporary configuration file when the user logs off the system to delete, so the user of the configuration file and edit all the operations will not be saved.


In the "Event Viewer" can be seen the following error message





Now we know that problem cause. This problem occurs may be due to a number of system services or application components deployed some of the process of user session, or the registry appear occupied, or "user session" before the user login operation. Therefore, the original system can not call the user has some configuration files, so users can only create a temporary profile .


Here is two solution.


Solution 1: Use Administrator account to login in, install a tool “UPHClean-Setup.msi” . This tool will create a service in the system automatically . This tool`s function is make sure the user profile is complete, while the user account is logging off .





Solution 2 ：Use Administrator account to login in. then use a tool , named “profwiz.exe”

1、Run that tool，Pop up “User Profile Wizard”

2、Click “Next” , “User Account Information”


To confirm that the user account and domain is correct or not. (Normally we use the same login name as email )
3、Click “Next”, “Select a User Profile”


This interface will display all the user profile which saved in this computer,Please take care that the highlight marked , you should seclet the right user profile.




4、Click “Next”, it prompt “Configuring Profile”

5、Click “Next” to finsh the step.


6、Then use that user`s account to login in this computer.. This problem could be fixed.






Sometime , If this problem happen, let the user to shut down the computer ,and boot the computer again,

it also could be fixed.

Yesterday , I got a request to help the user to test the webpage with Chinese Character .    That is a PHP file,   before the webpage testing .   I need to establish a PHP environment .   The most convenient way is using integrate package “Wampserver” . “ Wamp ” is Apache Mysql PHP integrated installation environment , under the window system. , apache, php and mysql server software .
