How to restore your installed software quickly?
Everyone may have this experience, After reinstalling your Operating System, the installed software are gone. So , how to restore these software quickly ?
1. Backup operation : dpkg --get-selections > installed-software.log , this action will store the installed software list in to "install-software.log" .
2. Restore operation: dpkg --set-selections < installed-software.log , this action will import the software list, then use "dselect" tool to install software.
